Lab and Equipment Access
Prior to gaining general lab access or access to an instrument, all users must have a FOM account. Instructions on making a FOM account.
Access to AMSEC equipment follows the AMSEC Instrument Access Policy.
Once the training(s) have been completed, the lab can be accessed through a keybox located next to the door of the lab. The code is changed a minimum of once a quarter. The user will receive an email when the code is changed. The current code can also be seen from the FOM user homepage. If the code has to change for any reason, the user will receive an email and the code will update on the user homepage on FOM.
The following trainings are required for each instrument on the list in addition to the individual instrument trainings.
