Congratulations to AMSEC Faculty Affiliate Peter M.A. Sherwood for having the AVS Mid-Career Award in Applied Surface named in his honor!

Congratulations to AMSEC faculty John Gilbertson, David Patrick, and Stephen McDowall and students on the selection of their recent Chemistry of Materials article as an ACS Editors Choice!

The ACS Editor’s Choice distinction, given to only about ten Chemistry of Materials articles each year, highlights the exceptional quality of the research by the AMSEC solar team that is synthesizing new sterically engineered dyes for use in novel luminescent solar concentrator devices under development at WWU. An ACS Editor’s Choice article, is highlighted on the American Chemical Society journal website and will be an open access article forever.
