Perfect for both large and small objects, the heated PEI build surface keeps your 3D printed objects in place when hot and releases when cool. With Cura LulzBot Edition, you have hundreds of quickprint profiles built in for seamless 3D printing.

Fused deposition modeling (FDM) 3D printing utilizes a strand, or filament, of plastic that is heated to melting and pushed through a small orifice. This is known as extruding. The system has motors, belts, and pulleys to allow the extruder to move around in three dimensions which allows the melted plastic to be deposited wherever it is needed. Combining this ability with specialized software, the part is built one layer at a time by laying down melted plastic and allowing it to cool in a controlled manner to create a part.
